Are you tired of struggling to get your children to eat raw healthy veggies and supplements???? Here is a kid friendly recipe (now, my kids love raw carrots and celery, so you might have to adjust the sweetness with honey or berries, but it’ a no fail. As always, use organic when possible, never GMO. Check out our post on how to spot GMOs by the food label.
Makes 4 Servings
1 Celery stalk
1 slice pineapple
1Tbs Diatomaceous Earth (food grade find it here)
1 Tbs Raw, filtered honey
3 frozen strawberries
1/4C mixed berries (rasberries, blueberries, blackberries, etc) frozen
1/2-1 beet root (this gives it that nice deep red color for those kids that are picky about the color)
1/4-1/2 C filtered alkaline water
3Tbsp protein powder (optional, add water as needed)
3 ice cubes
blend together in blender or your choice of emulsifier.
Feel free to experiment with blueberries, mangos, papaya, peaches, apricot(keep the seeds in), orange, lemon, avocado, the list of combinations is endless. For a more adult, detoxifying version check out our other recipes 🙂
